Having secured approval as a Wholesaler of Alcohol across the UK and EU, Prime Cultivar was established to meet a growing demand for premium quality export wines with a global reach, and in doing so sought out the worlds most prime and elite warm farms and wine selections on offer.
Our first premium select supplier was found and we secured distributorship for wines from South Africa via supplier, namely Val du Charron Wines (based in Wellington, Cape).
South African wines are extremely attractive to the UK market. Our wines are positioned at a premier quality, above the regular/cheaper wine found in retail. This is predominantly due to all the awards achieved to-date. The wine-connoisseur loves our wines, and they are distributed across Germany and a number of other countries worldwide too.
We frequently quote Fabrice Langlois, winemaker of Chateau Beaucastel and a very good friend: "A blend is much like a symphony orchestra where you have all the various sections ... the crisp woodwinds, the solid brass instruments, the rhythmic percussion and the elegant strings ... on their own they are instruments, but together under the hand of the conductor, a symphony."
